Toque, mouse ou teclas: escolhendo um esquema de controle

Pipa Combate runs the same on a laptop and a phone, but the three control schemes do not feel the same, and they are not equally good at the same things.

Mouse

The kite chases the cursor. This is the most direct scheme and the fastest for tight weaving — a small circle of the wrist becomes a tight figure-eight over the contact point. Sawing sits on the space bar, so both hands are working and neither is blocking the view.

Weakness: the kite is always trying to reach the cursor, so if you let the pointer drift toward the rooftops the kite follows it into the stall zone. Keep the cursor high.

Keyboard

Arrows or WASD move a target at a constant rate. It is slower to reverse direction than the mouse, but it is completely predictable, which some players find much easier for holding a controlled climb or a straight approach. Space still saws.

Weakness: generating high speed in a tight weave takes more inputs, and speed is what drives your sawing pressure.

Touch

On a phone or tablet, drag anywhere on the screen and the kite moves relative to your finger, rather than jumping to it. That choice is deliberate: absolute finger-mapping would mean your thumb sits on top of the kite you are trying to watch. With relative dragging you can steer from the bottom-left corner and keep the whole sky visible.

The saw button sits bottom-right, so a two-thumb grip gives you steering and sawing at once — the same division of labour as mouse-plus-space.

A note on the trim upgrade

Kite trim sharpens steering response on every scheme, but it is most noticeable on touch, where the relative-drag multiplier and the trim bonus stack into a genuinely twitchy kite. If touch feels sluggish early on, that is the upgrade that fixes it.
